Yoga in schools is a major part of the programmes we offer at Yog Abhyas Ashram. Children spent a lot of time sitting in classrooms, learning new things and trying to cope up with all the information. Their ability to perform well decreases, mood swings develop and stress becomes a permanent part of their nature leading to health problems later on.

Yoga is important to bring about a change in this situation. Children who practice Yoga are able to relax better, experience positive moods and benefit from improved posture. They also develop mind control and mental flexibility which are important life skills. Children learn how to control emotions through mindfulness and breathing exercises which makes them better human beings overall.
